Pool sessions at Normanton Leisure Centre
KCC starts at the pool in Normanton and opens up routes into local rivers, white water, sea kayaking, flat water trips, coaching, safety practice, and relaxed social paddling. We are volunteer-led, so activity grows from members learning, practising, and supporting each other.

White Water
White water is a big part of KCC. Members build skills progressively on suitable rivers and white water venues, with decisions shaped by conditions, group ability, equipment, and available leaders.

Flat Water
Flat water paddling gives members a route into calmer journeys, local waterways, social paddles, and family-friendly days where suitable. The right activity depends on the paddler, venue, conditions, equipment, and available support.
